Make sure that your computer is actually assigning COM10 to your virtual com
port. Many USB devices will not "install" until the device is actually
plugged in, and pick whatever com port it fastens on. This "walkabout" COM
port caused me trouble until I figured it out. I put something that called
it in my boot menu to nail it down. 73, Guy.
