Hi Ruben.  I recently did this for the first time (having only used the "Production" releases before) and found it difficult to find the instructions on the Elecraft website.  I finally searched the site (using the built-in search function at the bottom left corner of the home page) for "beta" and found  http://www.elecraft.com/K3/k3_beta_release_instructions.htm
 
I never could find a link to this from the main site pages - maybe it's hidden on purpose?

No...

  * Go to "www.elecraft.com"
  * Click on the big K3 picture
  * Click on "(Links for Manuals, Software Downloader, Specs etc. are
now at the bottom of this page.)"
  * Click on "K3 Firmware/ Software Download Page"
  * Click on "Click here for instructions on Beta Release download and
installation" (in red)

There is a link to the beta software instructions on the Elecraft software
page, http://www.elecraft.com/K3/k3_software.htm

Just inside the box labeled "Current K3 Firmware Revisions", the 3rd line of
text says "Click here for instructions on Beta Release download and
installation".  That line is hyperlink to the URL you have below.
