It seems the CW pitch is getting lost during power off.
Happend 3 times so far. Start sending and monitor puts out something like a 1 or 2 KHz pitch. Press pitch control and it returns to set value and acts noramlly for the rest of the session. (Haven't a clue what "pitch" the rig is transmitting on during these events.) The RX acts normally always--the CW signal peak at my normal 530Hz setting. The firmware and all the DSP tables have been reloaded, with new firmware program, several times. 73 de Brian/K3KO ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Yes, it happens here, but only after pressing TUNE. This was reported
on the list last Friday, with a response from Wayne stating that it would be fixed right away. Already fixed and being tested. I'm hoping to do a beta release of rev
3.11 tomorrow. If anyone is inconvenienced by the sidetone pitch-change problem and would like to try 3.11 now, please email me directly. 73, Wayne N6KR On Apr 20, 2009, at 12:07 PM, Radio Amateur N5GE wrote: > On Mon, 20 Apr 2009 12:56:39 +0000, Brian Alsop <[hidden email]> > wrote: > > I have experienced this also on both of my K3's #806 and #1055.
