Hi Just a quick question..
I’ve somehow managed to set up my K3, so that when I tune the main tuning knob (VFO A), that both the VFO A and VFO B frequencies change. Not sure how I’ve done this, but would like to stop it?? I’ve looked in the manual but can’t find anything on this.. Thanks David, VK2NU No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG. You've accidentally discovered a feature called LINK. You exit it by holding the SUB (button to the lower right of the Main VFO knob). When the KRX3 becomes available (end of March?), it will allow assigning both VFO A & B to the Main knob (after pressing A>B) which will be useful for diversity RX. You can also use LINK to tune both VFO's by whatever offset they are separated when you hold SUB to enter the LINK mode (i.e. if A & B are offset by 10 kHz, they will retain that offset when tuning the Main knob). I have yet to understand why anyone might want to do that! 73, Bill W4ZV |
