K3 VFO By-product?

VK1DW
The image captured from my P3 shows an interesting issue for which I am
seeking an explanation.  On 28 MHz I am seeing a strong  "spike" (
harmonic?) which moves in conjunction with VFO A.  It is not absolutely
stable but does drift a little.   Unfortunately I cannot listen to the
"spike" which  is visible in all modes and does not affect normal operation
being well outside the filter bandwidth.  The image can be seen at

K3  Serial # 3940 has  TXCO3-1 fitted.  Filters are 13.0/2.7/400  .  Sub
receiver is not fitted.

Any ideas much appreciated an d a Happy New Year to all.
