K3 and K2

John Graf

From what I've seen of the K3, it is truly an impressive rig!  But I
think I am going to stick with my plans to build a K2 this summer.
Having built the K1, I think I am hooked on the full-blown kit-
building experience.

So with that said, what is the future of the K2 (and K1)?  How long
will they continue to be offered and supported?

73,

John, WA6L

The K3 does not replace any radio in our current product line; it
complements them.  I know of no plans to discontinue any Elecraft
transceiver!

I'd say it was pretty mandatory to build a K2. Nice as the K3 is (and
it _is_ nice!!) I don't think you can beat the sheer pleasure of
building and using a K2.

ps did I say the K3 was nice? I really wish I wasn't still subscribed
to this list, then I'd have been protected from seeing the K3
announced...
