Seasons Greetings one and all,
Well this year I officially became entitled to have senior moments and being one who always takes up options for freebies, I decided my time had arrived to test out how good a "senior moment" I could create.
So to all those who tried so hard to get my K3 to Tx some data, my sincere apologies for dragging you all into my "senior moment"....I DID look at the back of the PC, I DID check that Line IN and Line OUT were connected to the K3 correctly. But, alas I looked over the top of the PC and somehow I managed to plug the audio cables into Line IN and Mic IN....I know now of course this was wrong and I needed to plug into Line OUT on the PC and not the MIC.....:-(
So having to go and explain myself to the XYL was indeed a most painful experience. I am way too embarrassed to repeat here what was said, suffice to say my protestations were met with derision, giggles, and in the end downright belly laughs. I have spent the last few hours hiding my face in the corner and remaining very, very quiet.
So again, thankyou for the support and advice folks, aside from my embarrassment, I am a happy camper yet again.
