K3 and (N8LP) LP-PAN Software Defined IQ Panadapter

Tom Whiteside
Hi folks.    Anxiously awaiting my Katie-gram for my early January order.    The LP-Pan adapter looks really neat!    I plan to use my K3 with other software for logging - DX4Win for regular operating and am wondering if it is possible to share the K3 serial port with the logging program *AND* the LP-Pan software at the same time?    I know that you can use the LP-Pan software without the serial port but it would be neat to be able to control the K3 from either.    Some gizmos are designed to listen passively on a COM port and maybe the LP-Pan is one of them?   Anyone playing with a K3 and the LP-Pan know?   If not, sounds like a possible PIC project...
