Paul...
Here are my settings for WSJT/FSK441 on the K3 for 6 meters:
K3 with SignaLink USB -- I am using the "high" audio setting on the SL,
as Don W. suggests.
Set K3 at 50.260 for 6 meter MS-- this is the calling frequency, not for
QSO's*
*Set K3 LinOut ~20-30 with SpecJT set for 0 dB
Note: The gain control slider at the bottom edge on SpecJT is the gain for
transfer from SpecJT to WSJT, not an input gain.
Input gain to SpecJT is controlled at the K3 by setting LinOut
Both in and out are the USB Audio Codecs re the SL. Be sure that these
Codecs are enabled and are the defaults
in both Playback and Recording panels: right-click speaker icon in task
bar (WIN 7).
I run about 350 watts output on 6 meters to a 5 element beam at 32 feet,
but your K3/100 barefoot should also work well. As usual, the 3 most
important station features are antenna, antenna, and antenna. I run the
same output on 2 meters into an 11 element beam at 35 feet, using the
ICOM 910H, or slightly less output using the K144XV in my K3.
