K3 and Yaesu MD-1C8 Microphone

Has anyone used a Yaesu MD-1 mic with a K3 and if so what was the
performance like?

I used one for about a year until the plastic part that holds the
microphone in the stand broke (this seems to be common).. The
performance was very good..
