K3 and spectrogram: SSB

Cloud Runner-3
Put the K3 on spectrogram today.  As expected the CW filters are delightfully clean.

Now, the SSB filters.  This was with 2.7 five pole filter.  DSP set at 2.7 khz, the filter is for all intents, PERFECT.  Steep sides, very steep, and absolutely level and flat top from one side to the other.  You could see no difference whatever between USB and LSB plots.  It is by far the best plot of SSB filter I have ever put on spectrogram.

When it gets interesting, is when you narrow it up.  When you dial the width narrower, from 2.7 to, say, 2.1, it narrows from both ends.

More likely want to put it in Hi cut / Lo cut mode for SSB, and narrow it up by lowering only the side on which there is QRM that is causing you to want a narrower filter in the first place.
