K3 and the MRP40 CW Program.

Gavin Keegan
Can anyone help or advise please ?  I would like to install the MRP 40
program on my shack computer and send and receive CW via an RS232 lead
connected to my K3, but I already use an RS232 lead connected between
the K3 and the controller for my SteppIR antenna.  Can anyone advise how
I can connect both the shack computer and the SteppIR controller to the
K3 RS232 socket and use both items at the same time ?  Gavin Keegan G6DGK

Gavin -

I'm not familiar with MRP 40, but I question that it decodes CW via an RS232 cable.
Maybe an audio cable?

SteppIR sells a "Y" cable that plugs into the PC and has 2 branches, one of which
goes to the K3, and the other goes to the SteppIR controller. I have, and use it.
They also have the schematic on-line if you'd like to build one.

I'm able to send CW from my logging program. Chek the usage documentation on MRP 40.
