Both Dick, WB7OND, and myself (AL4T) live in Fayetteville and have ordered K3's... However Dick's is in the 2d batch, mine in the 3d - and I'm in Iraq and *probably* won't make it back for Shelby this year...

Hopefully I'll be there again next year, though.
And still more hopefully, I've been in contact with the Iraqi Amateur Radio folks and there is a very slight possibility that the ARS in in Iraq may be reinstated before I redeploy (I've still got about a year left). My K3 is shipping to me here, so if it's legal to transmit, I devoutly hope to be on for ARRL DX CW, at least. Hopefully more, and both before and after that. We'll see.
