K3 at VP6DX - Ducie Island 2008

Bill W4ZV
I'm not sure how many here have noticed
but Elecraft will be a corporate sponsor of the upcoming
VP6DX operation in February 2008, including seven K3
based stations.  I believe this might be Elecraft's first
such sponsorship but I expect the K3 will become very
popular with DXpeditioners due to its portability and
performance.

P.S.  Extremely slow-loading website but FWIW:

In a significant way, Elecraft sponsored all K2/100s
for the Banaba DXpedition, XY3C in 2004, of which
I was a part.

I still like the picture, lost the link now, of the K2 sitting on the
"sponsored" Icom radio, during one of the dxpeditions.  Wish I had saved
that one.
