I did nothing more than monitor the audio on headphones while adjusting
the equaliser with the in-built monitor facility in the K3. I was
considering one of the more expensive microphones and tried a few that I
use for non ham radio purposes, but couldn't find one that sounded as
good as the cheap Kenwood MC-43S fist mic.
