K3 clean shutdown

I've discovered that my UPS will create events which are visible in Event
Viewer in the Windows Administration Console. Event viewer can tag those
events and attach tasks to them.

I'm going to try to write a small program which will be launched upon "loss
of AC power message" from the UPS and signal the K3 to shutdown via a
command to DXLabs Commander.

Ideally I really rather just have the K3 write it's state rather than
shutdown fully.

Is there a "flush state to NVRAM" command somewhere?
