Gentlemen,
I don't remember seeing a complete list of what items are and are not saved when you do a configuration save with the K3 utility. I'm currently experimenting with Rx and Tx EQ settings and filter gain settings (main and sub RX) and would like to have a snapshot point to return settings to their previous values. Does anybody recall if these are saved with a config save? I also was trying to research exactly what items are pushed from VFO A to B (sub RX) when you push A->B twice. I know it was modified to include more items than it's original configuration. I noticed that it doesn't push the NR setting from the main to the sub RX. The manual on page 22 states "and other settings". Thank you. 73, Forrest WA3FAE K3 #977 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
Forest: I'm away from my office this weekend, but I know that the
filter configuration is included in the configuration save. I don't know off the top of my head if RX and TX EQ are saved or not, but a simple experiment would be one way to find out. What's saved are those areas initialized by parameter initialization (EE INIT). 73 de Dick, K6KR Sent from my iPhone On May 13, 2010, at 4:37 PM, Forrest Hudspeth <[hidden email]> wrote: > Gentlemen, > > I don't remember seeing a complete list of what items are and are > not saved > when you do a configuration save with the K3 utility.
