K3 delivery confusion

DJ8ZJ sez he ordered on Nov 26 and got SN 800

KG4LCF sez he ordered on Nov 18 and got SN 799

Possible reasons:

- One was assembled and tested, the other a kit.
- One may have requested a hold until a particular S/N
(match a K2 S/N).
- Maybe one of the customer's payment was delayed.
- Units come out in batches and packed for shipping randomly.
- Somebody at Elecraft is just playing with your mind ...
