suggest that those having difficulty perform a careful analysis of their
own situation. I have used XP. Vista, and WIN 7 with my K3 and have
never had the slightest trouble refreshing firmware. I do this for every
new release, and from time to time just for amusement. The process works
quickly and without hiccups. As much as I try to avoid "me too!" kinds
of responses to this reflector, this time I would like to reassure
Elecraft that in my experience they have no shortcomings in this regard.
The download proceeds through a USB2/COM converter and a ho-hum desktop.
My ethernet service is very clean. For those who have forgotten their
high school Latin, "Cura te ipsum" is usually translated roughly as
"Physician, heal thyself."
