I would assume that arrangements have already been made with ARRL Labs and Sherwood Engineering to characterize one of the first production run units, or perhaps an existing fully updated Beta unit. Does anybody know for sure?
Personally, I'm impatiently waiting to hear the sound of the ARRL bench test technicians' jaws hitting the floor when they put the K3 receiver through its paces for the first time. ;-)
Let's see, would that be kind of a "thud", do you think, or more of a "splat"?
