[K3] fusing of 12 VDC output

Pete Smith N4ZR
Working on a switching problem in the shack this morning, and thought
for a while that the fuse on the K3's 12 VDC output had popped.  It
wasn't so, but in reviewing both the manual and the Cody book, I could
not find any reference to the location or type of protection on this DC
output.  Can anyone clarify?

Pete,

The output is protected by a resettable fuse inside the K3.
If it trips, removing the overload and power cycling the K3 will reset it.
