I just looked at the manual for that microphone, and found it is an
electret (condenser) type - which means it needs bias to operate.
Problem is that the listing on mic pins shows +8 volts separately -
which means that the voltage required to bias the mic element is likely
wired to the pin designated as +8 volts rather than being derived from a
voltage on the AF input.
Bottom line - in this case, the Kenwood adapter will not work because it
expects the +8 volts to be on pin 5, but the Elecraft mic pinout puts +8
volts on pin 6.
You may be able to use that mic if you are willing to alter the wiring
of the Kenwood adapter to swap the wires to pins 5 and 6 in the adapter.
