[K3] need help with hiss on ssb receive

You have (built into the K3), a Receive only,  8 band equalizer.

It will allow you to customize the receiver so that it will sound the way you
like it.  

Works great for me.  

Don't forget that hiss you hear is the normal part of the Excellent Dynamic
Range of the K3 Receiver.
