No Paul, it is not the same.
What I was writing about is the possibility of sending CW while you are in
mode SSB. This function is working properly as long as you are not using
"SPLIT".
I got a direct answer to my question from Wayne where he says that this
function (in split) is on the "To do list", i.e. it will work in due time.
