I have yet to ever hear my K3 fans, maybe they work or maybe they don't.
They worked in the test associated with building the radio.
It is true that I don't operate in contests much but I do leave the power
level at 120 watts most of the time except when I am on digital modes and
then I dial it down to 40 watts.
Okay, sometimes I operate 5 watts QRP too.
The bottom line is that if the fans are working I would need a properly
positioned mirror in order to tell.

I'm sure that one of the fans on the back of my new K3 is noisier than it
should be, as if the bearings are wearing. Even at the lowest level it is a
bit annoying, especially as folks were saying how quiet the radio is in this
respect.
Has anyone else experienced this?
