K3 passband shift question

Ray Kiesel
Have been reading these threads and other Elecraft info on the K3
with much interest.  A lot of good going on here wrt great engineering.

One question to which I cannot find an answer...
Assume that the DSP and crystal filters are normalized (NORM) with
the DSP about the same BW as the crystal filter.  If the DSP is only
shifted (no change to width), does the crystal filter also track the shift
(I would assume by using offsetting frequency shifts in the first and
second mixer injection oscillators.) or will it step to the next larger
bandwidth filter?  Will the tracking feature be present in the first
release of units in July?  If not, could it be added by a future firmware
update?

Thank you.

Yes.

Yes, it is already present in the field test units.
