I just replaced my DSP board with the upgraded one, and I agree with the
previous posters who said it improves the audio. That said, I found that, even with the latest firmware, my choices for the LO cut are 0.15, 0.25, 0.35, 0.45. I keep looking for the ideal setting for a given station and wish I could choose 0.20 or 0.30. 73, Erik K7TV ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
Hi,
That's easy to fix. Press one of the passband knobs to change mode to shift/width. Change the width one click. Go back to hi/lo cut and they should be on even 100s. AB2TC - Knut

Knut,
Thanks for reminding me; I may have seen that solution months ago. However, what I am looking for is to have all the choices available by just rotating the LO. Also this 'feature' can be a bit inconvenient, when it happens without its effect being intended.
It would be nice to have the consistency and the finer granularity. Hi again,
I agree the "feature" seems a little odd, but my first priority in this area (how the RX sounds) is to get serial commands/macros to set the RX equalizer. Way overdue IMHO. AB2TC - Knut
