K3: receive-mode VFO selection

Iain MacDonnell - N6ML-2
One of the items in the K3 'IF' command response is:

"v receive-mode VFO selection, 0 for VFO A, 1 for VFO B"

What does that mean? When would it be '1' ?

Is the "operating frequency" in the K3's IF response ever not the VFO
A frequency?

Tnx/73,

Re: K3: receive-mode VFO selection

Hi Iain,

An interesting question.  Not seen any reply.

See the FR command (receive VFO select), however, this only works with
the K2 as "VFO A is always active for receive mode" in the K3.  This
parameter can be seen to change in the Logger32 radio debug window when
toggling the VFO A/B select on the K2 in response to IF; polling.

Regards,
