K3 receiving changes since installing latest software

Hi Everyone,

Is it just that I haven't read every installment of the reflector, or what?

After installing the latest release software, the AM synchronous mode no longer will "track and lock" onto the carrier. Also, I no longer can get the CW decoder to decode much of anything. The AGC and NR improvements are fabulous. But did something else get "broken" in the process or may I have broken something?

If I am thick headed, I apologize, but is it me or something I missed?

Hi Ted,

I think you are behind on your posts from earlier this month. The CW decoder problem was widely discussed and a solution has been promised. Those affected are just being patient at this point so there have not been many recent posts on the subject.

I'm not sure about the AM sync. Maybe somebody else can comment.

Ted,

I went back to 4.48 to get the better decode on my K3s. Decode works very well in that version.

I miss the better AGC on the 4.51 but will wait for the next upgrade.

The AM sync track/lock works ok on my K3, rev 4.51.
