K3 reset/reboot

A good thought, and would make sense. On power on, it is in cw mode for a second then switches to LSB (rig is on 40m). Tried exercising all the buttons but no joy. The two VFOs do tune normally, so seems to be primarily limited to the pushbuttons.

Or maybe the front-panel connector has a pin that isn't making
contact. Maybe if you open it up and wiggle the front panel board....?

I second this advice! Pull the front panel board and push it back into place.
