K3 sidetone volume

Gimme more sidetone volume, please.    It is barely ok using the internal speaker, but when I use my excellent Kenwood speaker, the sidetone volume is way too low even when set to 30 (max).  60 would be good.

I thought my hearing was a bit diminished,
but checked and my CW sidetone is set at
20 ... -plenty- of volume from my K3.  Will
go considerably higher than my normal Rx
volume.  Ran it up to 40 and that's way too
much.  Am using a pair of 4" CB speakers.

There's a bit more to it than merely cranking out more sidetone volume,
but it IS on Wayne's 'to-do' list... please be patient.
