K3 sidetone volume

g3yiq
I want to add my name to the calls for higher sidetone volume on the K3. At what I feel is a comfortable listening level, QSK is difficult because the sidetone volume is significantly lower than my normal receive volume. I have read the earlier threads and a return to a maximum level of 60 would seem to be the answer.

I agree with *Bob g3yiq's* comments for the need of a higher max level for cw sidetone.
It was also unacceptable when using the K3 for mobile operation.

60?  Wow, I've not even brought mine above 20 as it becomes too loud.

Those who think it is too quiet, does it help to use a higher side tone
pitch?

Add me to the list of those wanting plenty of sidetone volume.  I just ordered my K3 so I don't know how low it is but I am hearing impaired so it's important that there is good volume for me.  I take my hearing aids off when using headphones and I turn the volume up to compensate.

Just a few dB would help tremendously.  My ears require a pitch around 500Hz so using
a higher pitch will only make it worse.  I quess old age is my problem--hi.
