After the high bands fade out; I usually do some MW listening... this evening - the rig is decidedly insensitive on both the K3 and KRX3 - both with general coverage and 6 khz filters. PREamp helps - but not enough - TS-2000 beside the K3 is normal ( levels are about 3 x stronger). signals on 80 meters are normal.
I reloaded all firmware/DSP etc to no avail.
A station that should read 9 plus 10-20 db reads 4. ATU is bypassed. Attenuator off.
Fixed - still posting this for those who might find the same thing - changing mode to LSB immediately made the K3 come-alive - and still ok when going back to AM....
Note - band changes, K3 on/off; firmware reload did NOT change things. I consider it a 'minor' bug
