There have been many upgrades/changes in the K2 since then. The K2 has never become obsolete because there hasn't been a K3, K4, etc. So is there any reason for Elecraft to have a K3 if the K2 is always updated? someone said there will never.... OOPS THE NEVER WORD,,,,,, I do hope there will be a variable passband "implementation" either within the framework of the 2 or perhaps the three.. there, I said it " K3." Not quite, there are much higher mountains on other planets ;) The
propagation should be quite good and the noise floor very low unless the planet is Jupiter or Saturn!! Kevin.
