K3 turns back on

My K3 turns back on after pushing power button to turn it off. have added the diode to the fan assembly mod to no avail..any suggestions?

  Mark,

Do you have anything connected to the K3 ACC connector?  If so, remove
it and see if the behavior goes away.
If I recall, attempting to use a video monitor cable in the ACC jack
will cause that.  There are several pins shorted together in a video
monitor cable.
