Got my Pigknob a couple days ago and have since reprogrammed it to suit
my needs. What a neat device to add to the K3. Eight programmable
buttons and a two-speed VFO - all on a thin ribbon wire that allows me
to control everything I need from my soft chair. I haven't used HRD
since I got the Pigknob.
The Pigknob is programmable via a terminal program (I use Putty) and,
other than for programming purposes, no computer is needed. The device
is stand-alone, with no software/computer requirements. Nice to have a
clear desk.
I have no monetary interest in the Pigknob - just want to say that I
enjoy mine and feel comfortable in recommending its use.
