K3 weak receive only on 80m

Hi, one and all, my K3 has turned somewhat deaf on 80m only -- transmission
on all bands is unaffected and the reception on all but 80 is just fine.
Using a signal generator provides S9 on all band *but* 80 -- there it's
down around S1 or S2.  What should I be looking at?

It's serial number 584 (methinks) and it was fine until some time in early
June; I was away for most of June and much of July and thought 80 was just
reacting to the weird sun, but my K2 receives much better....

Help appreciated!

Check to see if you have the receive antenna selected.
