K3: what specs will be reported?

IMHO that's too much data given that these guys are
trying to get the K3 out.  I suggest limiting the list to:

IMD (2 kHz spacing, 14 MHz)
BDR (2 kHz spacing, 14 MHz)

...for at the least the CW filters.  Relative performance
of the 5-pole 500 versus the 8-pole 400 should be a good
indicator for the 5-pole 2.7k versus 8-pole 2.8k SSB filters.

BTW I still cannot fathom 12 roofing filter options...8
optional on the current price list, 1 stock, 3 variable
for the future.  Seems like a production and marketing
nightmare to me, especially in a DSP rig which already has
50 Hz variable BW over a wide range.  Makes no sense to me!
I feel the confusion we are seeing on this list validates
my "marketing nightmare" comment.

The above info is sufficient to provide comparisons to other rigs
tested by ARRL, etc and is sufficient to determine which filter
options we should order.  I might trim back some other specs if
resources are an issue:

MDS - sensitivity is a non-issue in modern rigs
IP3 - redundant with IMD and BDR above
IP2 - perhaps but not absolutely necessary

I would add LO phase noise at 2 kHz since it can override
IMD and BDR at close spacings.  I'm sure some recall seeing
"noise limited" in IMD/BDR measurements (including the K2
by the way).  This is due to phase noise problems.

I understand Elecraft's test setup for IMD/BDR will duplicate
ARRL's procedure.
