Chris:
At my station, K3 #3192 has been married to a microKEYER2
for several years now after its divorce from a Kenwood
TS850S/AT. All it needed was a new cable (get the rear plug
one, much prettier on the desktop!). I have had no problems
whatsoever with the interface at all.
I also have a microKEYER "Classic" and it works with the K3
just as well.
Absolutely no issues, paperclip reliability and very simple
setup (All you have to do is be able to read... if you read
the microHAM instructions included in the manual and follow
the recommendations, it will work for you).
As an added bonus, K3 list participant and North/South
America microHAM distributor W4TV owns two K3's, so you are
in rather good company for support :)
