K3S/P3/KPS500/KAT500 Restart Woes

Our downstairs, including my shack, was being remodeled and I just put my
system back together.

The good news:
1. K3S runs and I can RX/TX and get FT8 spots on WSJT-X 2.1.2 - CAT works fine
2. Remote ATU works when I hit TUNE on the K3S - SWR read goes to 1.0 (I
have a Directional Coupler/Panadapter TX Sensor 1.8-5.4MHz 2KW installed
too).
3. KAT500 works

The stuff to work on:
1. P3 does not power on by front Power Button push - cables look OK but maybe not...or a K3S setting?
2. WSJT-X Tune or TX and I hear signal emitting from my headset phones - normal?

I am not sure if you are trying to power up the P3 with the K3 off, but
........

If you have the P3 powered from the K3 and have the internal jumper set
to power on with K3.  Then the P3 will only come on when you power up
the K3.

Just a thought.

Are you powering the P3 from the K3S?  May have blown an internal fuse
in the K3S 12V aux feed.

KPA500 does not power on.  Is the switch on the back ON?

Yes, recent WSJT-X update did change some of the TX audio level values. 
You will need to check the SPKR value on your computer, about 30% is
good to start, set the PWR slider on WSJT-X to 1/3 from top for both
TUNE and Transmit.  Check to see that DATA A mode is selected on the
radio and the Line Gain {set by the MIC knob} is about 30 or so.

All three audio control points must be correct for things to work
correctly.  If any value is near minimum or near maximum then there are
adjustments through the 3 points which need to be made.

Those three points are:

SPKR level on the computer

PWR setting slider in WSJT-X

Line Gain on the K3S.
