K4/10-F

Two questions:

Can the K4/10-F be field upgraded to 100 watts at a later time?  That is to say, will there be upgrade kits available not too long after the basic rig is . . . just in case?

Will the K4/10-F play as well with the KPA-1500 as the K4/100 will?  If so, what RF output from the amp could be expected?

Yes.

Yes.

Best guess with 10 W drive and a completely stock amp:  250-400 W, varying by band.

I don’t have a KPA1500 on my bench at the moment. No doubt someone will weigh in with a better estimate.
