K4 Panadapter positioning

Tom
Ron,

Thanks for the reply. However, I don’t seem to find any reference to repositioning a second panadapter in the FAQ. Would you mind
pointing me to the FAQ header where it is located?

Thanks, Tom

Yes, it will.  See K4 FAQs.

It may not be explicitly stated in the FAQ, but there's no reason not to provide both orientations. Side-by-side provides more waterfall height (optimizing for time), while top-bottom provides more span (optimizing for frequency).

The reason we're emphasizing side-by-side initially is that it clearly shows the relationship between the VFOs and their respective panadapters.
