[K4] Problems after yesterdays WIN-11 update.

Yesterday after Windows 11 updated the audio from the K4 is not present. all other functions work. I can change frequencies, bands, use the tune button on HRD or WSJT-X and the rig transmits a tone. However, there is no display of the spectrum. No audio input and I get an error message from the app indicating "Input Audio error, etc."   I am using windows 11 Pro on an enterprise level PC, HP K4 was working perfectly as soon as I set the "Line In" to "Sound Card" the day after it arrived. in early December.  In desperation I tried WSJT-X on The Rig blaster - Same Problem. Then on my laptop which also has WIN-11 PRO and has never had WSJT-X on it. This time, audio spectrum showed until I tried to configure the serial port. That required an update of the COM Port which wiped out the audio. Thus I do not believe the problem is in the K4 but WIN-!!

Does anyone know of a better set of drivers for the devices Windows generates. I have looked online and all I find are dated 2016- well before Win-11 the same that is on the windows update, or the usual "Scam Drivers" web sites.  
Or should I just use the old fashioned serial port and cables to the standard Mic & Speaker inputs on the back of the PC? help.

Discovered the problem.!!

It appears that the upgrade, there were three of them two from Windows (a big one) and one from Intel.

One of them changed the permissions in "Settings" for the "Microphone" to "OFF" for All APPS. The one at the top, for all apps was "OFF". Turned it "ON" and all is well. Suggest you write that in your user guide for your Rig Control program.

@ Steve, Elecraft should include this in their troubleshooting section of the K4 manual also.
