How about independent volume for left and right speaker. At my age, I hear better on one ear. I’d like to increase the volume on the other channel. WP4CW

That is already available in the K3/K3S.
If the subRX is installed, there is an audio pot for both (the concentric knobs). You can also set the inner knob as a BALANCE control. See CONFIG:SUB AF. 73, Don W3FPR On 3/30/2019 11:09 AM, teodoro martinez wrote: > How about independent volume for left and right speaker. At my age, I hear better on one ear. But the BALANCE control only works with subreceiver audio, either in
diversity or normal mode. It does NOT work when the subreceiver is off or not installed. This would be a desirable feature for folks with better hearing in one ear than the other. 73, Victor, 4X6GP Rehovot, Israel Formerly K2VCO CWops no. 5 http://www.qsl.net/k2vco/ On 30 Mar 2019 20:19, Don Wilhelm wrote: > That is already available in the K3/K3S. > If the subRX is installed, there is an audio pot for both (the > concentric knobs). > > You can also set the inner knob as a BALANCE control. With a single receiver K3S as I have, I use a pair of powered computer
type speakers. I can adjust the volume of each individual speaker and thus the AF Gain control on the radio works just great as it changes the signal to both. And the AFX function works equally as well. This sure makes listening for long periods of time much less stressful. 73 Bob, K4TAX On 3/30/2019 1:24 PM, Victor Rosenthal 4X6GP wrote: > But the BALANCE control only works with subreceiver audio, either in > diversity or normal mode.
