John,
The K60XV does modify the VCO range as indicated by the voltage at the left
end of R30, so your old (pre K60XV) voltages will no longer be valid - make
a new list.
You should check the end point voltages for all bands. The lowest will
normally be at 5300 kHz and the highest at 4000 kHz. Since you changed C71
in the installation process, 'D19 y' must be set in the secondary menu.
You said L30 makes no change - I must ask, have you installed the VCO shield
mod? If so, L30 no longer does any tuning, you have to spread or compress
the turns on T5 to change the voltage at R30.
Do the simple stuff first - remove the K60XV and jumper RF Board J13 between
pins 3 and 5 with a bent piece of wire (component lead trimming), then see
if the receiver comes back to life.
If it works with the jumper installed, put the K60XV back into J13 and check
the path through the relay that connects J13 pin 3 to pin 5 when the
transverter outputs are not being used.
