KAT 100-1 for other transceivers - no interface?

Chris Wagner-8
The president of my club, Charlie GI4FUE is selling his loaded K2 and a KAT
100-1. As there is no tune button to press, is the KAT 100-1 usable for
other transceivers? It's a marvel and adding such an interface would boost
its usefulness in a shack! 73s, Chris KF6VCI

  Chris,

The "interface" to the KAT100 is the K2 itself, I don't know that a
substitute would be practical.  The reflected power information (and
other data too) must be communicated to the K2 for processing.

I believe you *could* use the K2 to tune the KAT100, and after that is
accomplished, switch the KAT100 input to another transceiver, but that
would be quite inconvenient.
