KAT500: Length of E850463 AuxBus?

When the KAT500 gets here (next week) I will be using its arrival as an excuse to redo the operating layout. I can' t see the length of the auxbus cable  -  how far apart will I be able to put the K3 and the KAT500 with the standard Elecraft E850463 cable?

The cable I have here is 36" long from end of connector to end of connector.


AUXBUS is just one of the 15 lines within the accessory/auxiliary connector.
It also carries band data and key line (used by KAT500 & KPA500).
