KAT500 Remote Utility

I'm trying to use the KAT500 Remote Utility and having an issue. I've used this
in the past without incident, although that may have been an earlier version.

The current version 1.0.9.0 connects to the KAT500 normally, briefly displays
the (correct) state of the tuner then almost immediately crashes. Can anyone
else verify this and/or offer a fix?
