Hello, all...
I've just built K2 #5957 and installed the DSP unit. Radio and DSP are both impressive as is. It seem "intuitive" to me that the DSP filter's center frequencies should agree with the CW sidetone. That is, if I use a 440cps side tone, then all the DSP center frequencies - on CW - should be centered on 440cps, also. Am I think correctly on this point? ...robert Robert G. It depends on how you prefer to operate. If you want the received station's pitch to match your sidetone, then the answer is yes. Some folks prefer the pitches to be different to make it easier to distinguish what's going on, especially when using QSK, in which case you would set the DSP filters to your preferred receive pitch. 73, Lyle KK7P _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Along these lines, is there a way to set the DSP back to factory
defaults? Pull the battery? I seem to remember reading in the manual there was, but now that I want that info, I can't find it :| Jeff On 3/6/07, Lyle Johnson <[hidden email]> wrote: > > I've just built K2 #5957 and installed the DSP unit. There is a chart in the manual with the default settings listed. 73, Lyle KK7P _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
