KIO2 and K60XV pecking order.

Ivan Davies
By Ivan G3IZD.
I am awaiting delivery of the above in preparation for building the 2m transverter. Is there a logical order in which to install and test these when construction is complete.
Incidentally, filter alignment using Spectrograph was most rewarding, especially on the narrower CW settings and CW rev.

KIO2. The K60XV is not needed for the Elecraft transverters. Take a
look at one of the transverter manuals for more information on
connecting things.

True, but the K60XV is a *very* nice interface that makes using the K2 with
the transverters much easier and more straightforward, especially if you
want to use the K2 on HF as well.

I don't think it makes any difference in the order of adding them, but I
have a K2/100 equipped with the K60XV, so I can't speak from personal
experience.
